“Building a Culture of Service” is a university goal initiative designed to give staff members the tools and training necessary to provide a level of service that is in line with Vision 2010. Vision 2010 includes the following goals for our people and work environment:
Create a service-oriented, professional culture.
Support Services will be student-focused, easily accessible, timely, responsive (solve problems), and respectful; periodically addressed to ensure improvement.
Improve employee satisfaction.
How can I get more information about my role in Building a Culture of Service?
Each new employee will take part in a series of training sessions that will mimic the training program provided to staff members in the initial rollout.

The food services
The companies that supply foodservice operators are called foodservice distributors. Foodservice distributors sell goods like small wares (kitchen utensils) and bulk foods.
Some companies manufacture products in both consumer and foodservice versions. The consumer version usually comes in individual-sized packages with elaborate label design for retail sale. The foodservice version is packaged in a much larger industrial size and often lacks the colorful label designs of the consumer version.
Foodservice sales to restaurants and institutions are estimated to be approximately $400 Billion, about equal with consumer sales of foods through grocery outlets. The foodservice industry is one of the largest employers in the United States. Major foodservice providers include Compass Group, Unidine, 3663 First for Foodservice, Aramark, JJ Food Service Limited and the Crown Group.
